Regular six monthly dental check-ups will diagnose, treat and manage your overall oral healthcare needs. These regular examinations will involve cleaning, gum care and preventative education.
If you are interested in joining Millennium Dental find out more about the practice and services we offer here. We would be happy to help with all your dental needs and offer a new patient consultation so we can get to know you and your smile straight away.
Contact usAt your dental examination (check-up) appointment, after asking after your concerns, your dentist will carry out a thorough examination which will include your jaws, teeth, gums, surrounding areas and carry out a cancer screening.
The results of this examination will then be discussed thoroughly with you and if needed, treatment advice given. A written Treatment Plan is then created. We will ask you to review this and be available to answer any questions you may have.
At Millennium Dental we offer a range of dental hygiene services that will help keep your teeth sparkling and your gums healthy. Our experienced dental hygienist John Murray will also show you how to maintain a healthy mouth between appointments.
Contact usHere at Millennium Dental clinic, we are proud of our state-of-the art technology. Our CBCT Carestream scanner is a high-tech scanning machine used to produce high resolution 3-D images of the soft tissues, bones and teeth in the mouth. This advanced scanner can also be used for detection of infections, tumours and periodontal disease at a much earlier stage when they are more responsive to treatment.
Unlike traditional X-rays, the CBCT uses lower doses of radiation and can view different angles of the mouth and jaw for better diagnosis and treatment. Being minimally invasive, it can put the most anxious of patients at ease, providing an accurate picture of the mouth which can be shared with the patient to discuss their further treatment options.
Our Carestream 3700 Intra Oral scanner provides a highly accurate reading to deliver the most precise and effective planning process for dental implant placement, replacing the need for traditional and messy impression materials. This wand is positioned and then swept around the mouth to produce a full scan in as little as 60 seconds. Our patients find this procedure gives a comfortable and speedy experience without the mess of traditional goopy moulds. This clever scanner can even detect the enamel colour to achieve an optimum restorative result for any implants.
